1001 Inventions and the Library of Secrets
Commissioned by the Foundation for Science and Technology, this drama is designed to show that during the ‘Dark Ages’ in Europe, the torch of Human knowledge was carried by the Muslim civilisations. Between 700 and 1500AD countless discoveries were made that have underpinned the science and technology of our modern age.
The film, produced by The Edge Picture Company and featuring Sir Ben Kingsley, accompanied a hugely successful exhibition that ran for six months at London's Science Museum and is now on a world tour visiting such places as the Smithsonian.
Over two million people have downloaded the film and it has won very many awards worldwide, including Gold for music at the US Film Festival, Silver for music at the IVCA and was a Finalist for music in the New York festival.
